Presently we seek a Laser Technician to monitor, troubleshoot and maintain delicate laser equipment in hospital operation rooms during patient procedures. Responsibilities will also include testing, sterilization and inspection of equipment, transporting equipment safely to and from customer sites and processing work orders and additional paperwork. Our Laser Technicians maintain a professional relationship with all physicians, hospital staff, physicians’ office staff and other personnel both in appearance and behavior. The company will train all technicians on various equipment, including an overview of basic laser biophysics, laser safety, fiber-optic delivery systems and component/ operation of the laser.

Qualified candidates need to be a certified surgical technician, have either a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or Associates degree (A.A) and have the ability to work flexible hours with an on call schedule (on a rotating basis.) Excellent customer service and communication skills, the ability to lift up to 80 lbs, push 100 lbs and a clean driving record are also required.
