The Lead Bellman is expected to perform leadership tasks within the Bell/Houseman department; which include but are not limited to; creating, implementing systems of accountability to ensure that all bellman/houseman are properly cleaning, organizing and restocking closets and the main laundry room, responsible for auditing the daily housekeeping request log to ensure that all requests have been met and closed out for the time period before, responsible for creating, training and implementing training tools to ensure each employee under the lead is given the best opportunity for success, the employee will also be responsible for auditing the vehicle inspection forms for the department, inventorying the supplies needed for the housekeeping department, departure checks of the units, inspection of the units and cleaning from time to time. This qualified individual will also ensure quality service and report any problems or damage promptly. The Kirkwood employee is expected to work well with others and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have a clean driving record for the ability to drive and comply with the Autorized Driver's Program. Will be supervising other Authorized Drivers in the department.
Flexible schedule required during peak times throughout the year.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to Supervisor and/or Human Resources.
• Regular lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, stooping, standing and walking
• Some housekeeping experience preferred
• Ability to be an authorized driver at Kirkwood
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience
