As part of GE’s IT Risk Compliance organization, this individual will support GE-wide IT control enhancement initiatives. These initiatives include a growing IT Policy environment, enhanced control testing, increased control validation, and compliance training strategies. This individual will also work to drive process enhancement, simplification and increased process visibility.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and assistance to GE Businesses during the performance of IT SOx and policy Control testing
  • Provide near real-time feedback to GE Businesses on IT SOx and policy testing via quality assurance (QA) reviews
  • Collaborate with GE Corporate and business functions to ensure IT control guidance is in-line with the overall GE, business unit or regulatory guidance
  • Coordinate with IT policy and compliance programs to ensure alliance with IT control testing guidance/training programs
  • Create and maintain metrics and analysis artifacts for reporting on all IT Risk controllership programs
  • Coordinate stakeholders across GE businesses to socialize and drive change regarding IT controls

    Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with SOx or IT Control requirements or testing

    Desired Characteristics
  • Experience auditing or testing regulatory requirements (e.g. HIPAA, PCI, FISMA, etc.)
  • Strong planning & project management skills
  • Exceptional communication skills with technical and non-technical communities
  • Proven ability to coordinate and influence large groups
  • CISA
  • CISSP
  • Experience with Archer or similar GRC tools
