This position will lead key compliance programs / projects within the infrastructure Shared Services organization as a member of the Risk and Compliance team. Responsibilities will include managing the introduction of new policy controls as well as sustaining and reporting on continuing critical control programs. This role will work closely with stakeholders across multiple operational process functions stationed in locations around the world.
Lead and manage multiple projects as part of the larger Risk and Compliance program
Serve as primary interface with functional process owners and compliance leaders, providing the level of expertise that builds trust and confidence
Manage projects by clearly defining the tools and procedures to plan and track projects including deliverables, schedule, quality and project progress
Develop and maintain relationships with compliance specialists and solutions functions
Create and modify program scorecards and dashboards to accurately communicate to a very broad audience of stakeholders
Given a set of compliance controls implementation, determine the required tactical activities and coordinate stakeholders across GE to execute and report progress
Read and interpret the spirit and letter of compliance controls and be able to communicate the intent and expectations to functional process owners
Analyze data and other information to identify risks and inconsistencies
Proactively identify project issues and risks and work with the project team for timely resolutions
Prepare project communications and documentation including executive briefings, project tollgate deliverables, weekly status reports, blog postings, etc.
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience work with various IT technologies, including Mainframes, Servers, Networks, Cloud infrastructure and desktop technologies
