The Cyber Intelligence Analyst will be focused on the collection, analysis, and production of timely and accurate intelligence from a diverse range of information sources. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise with the latest technologies, procedures and processes for acquiring cyber intel and have practical experience processing information from open source to highly classified.
Monitor a wide array of information sources – ranging from open-source to classified portals – for potential threats to GE’s digital infrastructure and operations
Analyze threats to determine their impact to GE’s digital footprint
Research relevant cyber intelligence feeds and contextualize findings to GE’s specific business risks
Lead integrated internal customer relationships and communication rhythms in partnership with IT Risk teams and Corporate and Business Communications
Develop and lead relationships with external intelligence and vendor organizations to increase threat information sharing
Work in a team environment or independently when necessary and be self-directed when appropriate
Provide technical expertise and counsel to management, other organizations and special projects personnel
Collaborate with management in developing technical directions, setting objectives and setting realistic and challenging goals
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Assurance, or related field
Minimum 3 years of professional experience with Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Information Security and Information Technology

Minimum 3 years of professional Cyber Intelligence experience, including collecting intelligence, analyzing and creating relevant reports
One or more of the following certifications: A+, Security+, CISSP, GSLC, CEH, GSEC
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Perl
Knowledge of Network Traffic Analysis
Digital Forensics or Incident Response background
Experience developing cyber-intelligence briefings, specifically for diverse senior management & officials
Awareness of the latest cyber-intelligence collection trends and developments
Must possess strong analytical & evaluative thinking
Excellent consulting skills and superior client handling skills
Strong oral and written communications skills
