Lead Business Analyst – Oracle CRM #552
The Lead Business Analyst is the IT position with the knowledge and expertise of business unit processes. This person works with the business unit and IT personnel in the development and support of the companys business processes and strategies regarding CRM and SRM applications. This individual will be accountable for providing leadership and independent initiatives in facilitating information gathering, structured documentation and presentation of findings to all levels of management. The Lead Business Analyst will conduct analyses of functional business process and functional requirements and be instrumental in the development of business cases in support of process changes and/or IT projects. The Lead Business Analyst will collaborate and communicate with all levels of management within the context of their responsibilities. The Lead Business Analyst will be the highest level functional IT resource for defining user requirements, testing, and implementing business solutions. This is a position with supervisor responsibility. The position is responsible for the delivery of IT work products that involve a team of contributors. This position supervises others on specific tasks or work streams.
Experience and Education
Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems or similar
A minimum of 8 years of related experience required
The position requires significant technical and management expertise to add measurable value to the work completed by others
Technology Skills and Strengths
End to end business process design and analysis
Detailed experience and knowledge of CRM/SRM applications and implementations utilizing Oracle CRM On-Demand or Siebel CRM
Detailed knowledge of Oracle CRM On-Demand or or Siebel CRM
Experience in a functional lead role in projects or task teams
Functional knowledge of enterprise systems, ERP systems and custom development
Experience with defining complex business requirements
Project management experience with complex IT projects
Self-motivated, requiring little supervision
Excellent oral and written communication
Primary Job Responsibilities
Serves as a senior subject matter expert associated with content, processes and procedures, defining detailed requirements, analyzing the business needs and validating solutions with the business regarding SRM and CRM solutions utilizing Oracle CRM On-Demand
Maintains focus on process analysis with an understanding of technical problems and solutions and the relationship to the business environment
Business process mapping
Lead functional and technical gap analysis
Lead solution demonstrations and workshops
Analyzes overall project considerations and builds the business rationale to provide a concrete solution recommendation
Lead and facilitate gathering of functional requirements
Project management as required
