Overall Job Purpose
Responsible for managing an analysis function within the CRO department. Individual and collective team provides analysis and reports, develops policies and procedures, and supports implementation of programs to manage impairment and losses in the delinquent and recovery portfolios.
Risk and Strategy Analysis
Develop and Manage new and existing Collection Strategies in order to optimize profitability, utilizing Scoring and Segmentation techniques, including the usage of Champion/Challenger or Test/Control design.
Targeted focus on pre-Charge-off portfolio, covering strategies across all buckets of delinquency, with focus on Hard to Contact strategy, Dialer Strategy, and Collections Marketing (Email, SMS, and Direct Mail Letters), as well as support for the Collection Website.
Create and Enhance Strategy MI analysis and reporting
Manage or co-ordinate program implementation, including all phases from development to performance monitoring.
Systemically document and track strategy changes in order to comply with all internal and external audit and control requirements
4-year college degree in a quantitative discipline required. Masters degree preferred.
5+ years analytical or equivalent experience
Collections and/or Risk experience preferred
Computer literacy/proficiency in data query tools such as SAS, SQL, Oracle, Unix, and MS Office.
Strong analytical, technical and statistical skills with proven ability to process vast amounts of data into meaningful information.
Strong communication skills & ability to work independently.
Project management skills.
Proven record in problem solving and business innovation.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fun and fast-paced environment.
