Minimum Hiring Salary/Position Status : $10.71/hour, Full-time, Benefitted, Non-Exempt
Position Details :
Provide excellent customer service
Establish excellent rapport with customers
Ensure all food stations are stocked, clean, and available to customers
Does food and beverage temperature audits per Dining Services Standards
Ensures food presentation and quality standards are upheld
Does some food production, including display cooking
Follows all safety and sanitation guidelines, which includes completing temperature audits as assigned and maintaining a clean organized facility
Controls and secures inventory, maintains food costs with minimal waste
Coordinates dining room ambiance and seasonal changes
Participates in planning and execution of theme dinners and special events
Provides leadership, trains staff in operational and customer service procedures
Performs assigned Food Pro responsibilities
Works in other Dining Operations as directed
Assists with Residential catering as needed including on and off premise events
Follows cash handling procedures
Minimum Requirements :
HIgh School Diploma or Equivalent
Requires strong customer service skills.
Requires strong motivational, organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills.
Requires knowledge of equipment, materials and practices of the industry.
Requires ability to move up to 40 lbs and move/stand for 3-3 1/2 hours at a time.
Preferred Qualifications :
Prefer front of the house experience/working and interacting with students/customers
Prefer knowledge of computers and software used in the business
Prefer food production experience
Prefer experience in large volume production and/or multi-concept facilities
Prefer the ability to handle cash and utilize POS systems
