The Lead EDI Developer / Analyst / Architect will be responsible to be familiar with our current processes, providing 2nd level support and developing a migration strategy. In this role you will be responsible for maintenance and technical support of the EDI system, annual EDI upgrades and responding to new development requests and needs in this area.

Essential Responsibilities
In addition you will:
  • Provide the highest levels of customer service throughout the organization to drive results
  • Communicate and collaborate for success
  • Gather information about program needs, objectives, functions, features, and input / output requirements
  • Convert designs and specifications into program specifications and manage the development of these changes
  • Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries
  • Identify and define problems, evaluate alternative solutions, and implement effective / efficient solutions
  • Work closely with other areas of the company
  • Work to ensure that the product meets specified requirements
  • Work as an integral member on the team
  • Communicate with all interfacing departments in a professional and efficient manner
  • React to the aggressive schedules required for our Business Partners
  • Be our expert in EDI processing, and the extraction, transformation and loading (ETL) of data within our IBM iSeries systems and Microsoft SQL Server environments
  • Gather information about program needs, objectives, functions, features and input and output requirements
  • Convert designs and specifications into code
  • Compile code and correct errors detected in compile process
  • Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries
  • Identify and define problems, evaluate alternative solutions, and implement effective and efficient solutions

    Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelors’ Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with X12 EDI programming and standards
