Provides analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of hardware for products. Develops test strategies, devices, and systems. Contribute to all aspects of the product development lifecycle. May lead and direct the work of other hardware engineers.

Lead efforts for product engineering for both legacy and new development projects.

Candidate should be well versed in the entire product development lifecycle from concept to end of life.
·
Lead and participate in Engineering efforts to meet product development goals include, but not limited to, concept design, development planning, design and management, system integration, quality assurance, and production.
·
Lead efforts for continual product improvement.
·
Lead outsourced projects to insure deadlines, costs, and goals are met.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
EXPERIENCE:
Lead Engineering experience (leading a team of engineers).
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EQUIPMENT & OTHER:

Self-starter with strong leadership, communication skills, and demonstrated problem solving ability
·
Good communication skills
·
Knowledge of analog and digital video and audio signals
·
Knowledge of wireless communications: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, RF, 3G/4G
·
Interpretation of automotive specifications a plus
