The Lead Aeroderivative Gas Turbine Performance Engineer is responsible for developing and executing fuel evaluations, performance, emissions and noise guarantees for new unit contracts and aftermarket opportunities. You will utilize your technical expertise to plan and execute performance acceptance test. The successful candidate will interface with cross-functional teams to help solve complex issues and contribute to the overall business strategy. In this role you will:
Develop gas turbine performance, emissions and noise guarantees in support of Sales efforts for new unit contracts and aftermarket opportunities
Create detailed field test procedures and execute performance acceptance tests at customer sites to validate contractual guarantees
Serve as gas turbine performance technical expert for the Aero business
Provide necessary support and analysis in coordination with Sales, Customers and Engineering
Review customer inquiries and project requirements to establish scope of supply
Timely develop detailed comments to customer specifications
Execute the design, analysis or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements
Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments, process or documentation gaps
Participate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues
Participate as presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or other technical Degree from an ABET accredited institution
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering position
Minimum of 2 years of experience with frame or aeroderivative gas turbine and packages
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with customers in a technical role
Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited institution
Strong applied knowledge of Gas Turbine and/or Combined Cycle applications and thermodynamic performance
Minimum of 3 years of Thermodynamic modeling experience: Cycle Deck, GTPro, GateCycle, etc.
Minimum of 5 years of gas turbine experience in the Power or Oil & Gas Industry
Gas Turbine performance testing experience including codes and standards (PTC 19, PTC 22, ISO 2314)
Solid understanding of gas turbine controls and operation philosophy
Strong understanding of gas turbine fuels, emissions and emissions regulations
Self-starter with strong technical and analytical skills
Ability to work effectively in globally distributed teams
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Focus on quality, customer service and fulfillment
Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems
PC proficiency and programming experience
