We are looking to hire an Engineering Manager to lead the team of engineers that owns customer on-boarding and long-term product engagement. Your team cares about delighting new users and making all of our customers more productive, happier support professionals. You will relish being able to measure your success using the fundamental metrics of our business: conversion, engagement scores, satisfaction ratings and NPS, because you want to know that you are making the company better.

Responsibilities:
Work with Product Management to translate strategy to plans while injecting just a smattering of realism

Manage and organize smart, opinionated technical folks and make them productive

Mentor your direct reports in their professional development.

Roll up your sleeves and code alongside your team

Enjoy providing frequent and constructive feedback

Onboard, coach and mentor junior and new hires

Adapt while dealing with a creative team that needs to experiment to succeed

Have a friend called data you can call on when you need it

Requirements:
5+ years of development experience preferably with a SAAS solution in a production environment

Experience leading a team

Command of a modern programming language: Python, Ruby, Java,

Experience in Agile software practices

Verifiable contributions to open source software

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
