This role will be an opportunity to lead a cross functional Six Sigma Master story focused on the long term improvement and redesign of a major business process for the Distribution Business Unit with the resources of 20 + Greenbelts/Blackbelts/Yellowbelts to streamline the process and 30+ technology team members to rapidly implement improvements. This candidate will be very knowledgeable and an advocate of the Six Sigma methodology always pushing for people to make data driven decisions and looking for opportunities to continuously improve their processes. Responsibilities will include a complete re-design of a major business process that will enable Distribution to meet the challenges of the future. This role will be responsible for setting the project improvement vision and strategy and determining the right metrics to track success, utilizing data to determine areas of process changes, making change happen through change leadership skills and solid project management for execution and ability to present the success stories to very senior levels of the organization. Although this position will have no direct reports it will be responsible for assigning work to 50+ employees in the organization split between Greenbelts/Blackbelts/Yellowbelts that are dedicated to your master story and Technology resources that will be automating the new process in our systems. This role is expected to be a rotational position lasting a minimum of 18 months and a maximum of 30 months during which the candidate will work to achieve Master Blackbelt Certification. After successful completion of this role your knowledge, ability, and leadership will be evident to all VP direct reports, the VP, and COO.
5+ Years in leading change across cross-functional teams
Six Sigma Blackbelt Certified

Travel to field locations as needed
Masters in engineering, technology, or business
Prior supervision experience
Various - Throughout FPL Territory with ability to Travel to Jupiter West frequently or as needed

M-F 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Ability to work extended hours as needed.
