Job Profile - Strategic Service Manager

Responsible for customer service, delivery and ongoing management of the company's large-business, mid-tier, government, education and wholesale customers worldwide. Ensures customers receive world-class care and execution for the delivery and management of services to optimize businesses outcomes, including managed solutions operations for communications, network, IT and security, and outsourced solutions.

Responsible for the delivery of services within contractual commitments. Ensures client solutions are supportable within Company framework of services and service level agreements. Develops project plans and matrix manages all internal and external client partners. Performs risk mitigation to ensure minimal impact to service delivery and milestone execution and develops all client communications for the project implementation. Responsible for development, maintenance and execution of project delivery plans and managing partners to project timelines.

Provides technical and/or analytical support to solve a wide range of complex issues/problems. Periodically makes recommendations that aid in the successful completion of projects within a product or functional area; works with limited supervision.

Job Responsibilities

6 to 7 years experience applying your technical background in a client-facing role.

  • Strong hands-on or conceptual-level understanding of telecommunications, networking, Microsoft & Unix technologies, hardware & software, and ability to learn custom applications.
  • A college degree in business, technology, or programming
  • Strong relationship development skills and issue resolution capabilities.
  • Excellent documentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management skills
Technical Associates Degree required or equivalent work experience. BS preferred. Generally requires minimum of 3 yrs. experience.
