As an IT professional you have expert knowledge in one or more programming languages or databases. Because of your excellent understanding of the entire project life cycle, you have the ability to direct project teams in the gathering, design, and development of complex applications/programs. You get to work closely with and learn from the brightest minds to ensure proper system design. Your role ensures highest quality implementations from design through quality insurance to production. You anticipate hardware and software design needs to take pre-emptive action. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Creating, set up, validating SCCM deployment collection and advertising
Developing, automating and implementing SCCM deployment tools to increase success rate
SCCM promotion: Development to QA, QA to Production
uFTp content replication: setup, execute, validate
Providing L3 support eslcation point for SCCM deployment related issues

Monitor, maintain, and support end-user hardware and software applications. This may include evaluating new systems during the pre-implementation phases, supporting the customers, resolving user problems, and training the end-users and teammates.

Assesses financial effect of wiring, staging and installation costs, new equipment purchases, and project changes.
Ensures proper asset management for all items being installed and uninstalled.
Oversees the computer maintenance expense line on store profit and loss statements to ensure that expenses are charged appropriately in accordance with GAAP and Home Depot policies.
Reviews monthly profit and loss statements for IS department and analyzes expenditures vis-a-vis their budget.
Conducts post project reviews to determine financial and operational success.
Selects, develops, and motivates assigned staff.

Typically reports to an IS Controller.
Direct reports typically include one or more Senior Systems Specialists, Systems Specialists and Associate System Specialists.
Typically requires interpersonal skills for dealing with sensitive or controversial situations.
Typically procedures for analyzing situations and making conclusions are very diverse.
Typically considers among many different options or procedures when solving problems.
Typically, once given general assignments, determines priorities and defines what should be done and how to do it.

Must meet reasonable deadlines, quotas or demands for accuracy and/or may be involved in some mildly difficult situations.

Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must pass the Drug Test.
Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses.

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.


Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Minimum of 5 years experience with SCCM focusing on software distribution and software update
3 years windows Server System administration hand-on experience required
3 years Windows Powershell experience required
Experience in MS SQl Server 2008
Experience in designing and implementating business or Operational process workflow required
Excellent communication and skilled both written and oral
Must be able to work independently as well as team player
24/7 on-call required based on on-call rotation

Project management experience.
People management/supervisory experience.
Systems analysis and consulting skills.
Financial analysis skills.
Knowledge of standard software products, including MS Office and Lotus.
