Lead Teller-Operations Specialists share responsibility with the Branch Manager for operations within their respective branches. Operations responsibilities include ensuring satisfactory audit ratings, managing critical operational metrics to minimize risks and losses, maintaining high standards for security and account opening activities, helping to ensure the entire branch staff is trained and follows policies and procedures, and operating within the guidelines of Chase's Code of Conduct.
The Lead Teller-Operations Specialist, along with the rest of the branch, reports to the Branch Manager. You will support the Branch Manager and help Tellers to accurately handle customer transactions and to provide great customer service. To ensure that we are meeting the needs of the customers, based on customer traffic and branch hours, you will regularly assist with Teller transactions and may also be asked to provide input on the Teller schedule. Additionally, the Lead Teller-Operations Specialist will help Tellers make safe and simple referrals to bankers. The Lead Teller-Operations Specialist may also assist with other customer interactions, in addition to teller transactions, during peak periods.
The Lead Teller-Operations Specialist works with the Branch Manager to communicate branch performance and priorities during daily huddles and throughout the day, typically in the Branch Manager or designated Banker's absence. Additionally, on rare occasions, the Lead Teller-Operations Specialist may need to oversee the entire branch in the Branch Manager's absence, when a designated Banker is not able to oversee the activities.
