This is a highly technical position requiring frequent interaction with employees at all levels of the company, suppliers, and potentially customers. The successful candidate will: Organize and lead events to improve processes and eliminate wastes; Support continuous improvement teams to systematically improve performance; and quantify improvements throughout the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Gather and analyze performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
•Drive new ways of thinking into established processes.
•Work directly with process owners and contributors to establish and execute improvement plans.
•Coach and teach teams/individuals to drive lean thinking in their roles.
•Advocate for lean improvements throughout the company.
•Facilitate the company cost/waste reduction program.

Education And/Or Experience
•B.A./B.S. Degree from 4 year college or university and 5 years minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Demonstrated ability to break down tasks, manage and implement larger initiatives.
•Demonstrated ability to communicate complex matters in a simple understandable format to multiple levels.
•Strong analytical(including statistical), root cause analysis and problem solving skills.
•Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo and create organizational change.
•Knowledge of manufacturing and business processes.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office.
•Experience applying lean tools and concepts is a plus.
