Conduct production surveillance on wells for assigned route.
Use Scada and TOW each morning to identify wells off trend to prioritize day by production impact.
Operate / maintain wells to optimize production rates and control costs.
Understand cost structure.
Perform thorough operations and maintenance checks on all production facility equipment related to assigned route during each visit.
Perform repairs and maintenance on all equipment or report to Supervisor if assistance is needed.
Gauge oil and water tanks for accurate volumes and witness random oil sales to verify accurate run ticket gauges.
Check and maintain valve seals on oil tanks and keep seal log.
Accurately record production and injection reports at the end of each day and enter into Evin.
Communicate daily with Lead Operator or Supervisor to discuss EH&S, production variances and daily activity.
Conduct production test on comingled tank batteries once every month and enter well test into Evin.
Utilize POC’s for production performance and pump efficiency.
Keep all production facilities clean and orderly. Inspect secondary containments for integrity and equipment for leaks on each site visit.
Maintain assigned vehicle and keep in good working condition. This includes regular oil changes and keeping vehicle clean both inside and out.
Demonstrate clear leadership qualities such as flexibility, cooperation, positive attitude, good judgment and strong written and verbal communication skills
Operate / maintain compression equipment to optimize runtime & efficiency
Operate/maintain gas lift compression and equipment. Optimize runtime & efficiency
Operate / maintain dehydrator to meet gas quality requirements
Operate/maintain water disposal systems in accordance with regulatory requirements
Operate gathering pipeline – monitor pressure, perform ROW surveillance, assist with water removal by pigging of line or draining pipeline drips.
Operate / maintain fluid/gas separation and associated equipment.
Preferred minimum of 1-3 years oil field or related experience (for Lease Operator)
Preferred minimum of 3+ years oil field or related experience (for Sr. Lease Operator)
Work in a manner to promote safety.
Possess strong leadership skills.
Understand and interpret test results from fluid levels, dynamometer, Echo meter, and POC’s
Possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Operate safely a company provided vehicle to perform job duties.
Access remote locations; work in temperature extremes and or adverse weather conditions.
Work independently with minimum supervision.
Be able to perform basic mathematic functions.
Be able to read and understand technical information regarding operating instructions and equipment specifications.
Possess basic computer skills.
Able to input production reports into eVIN/TOW
