Lecturer (Radiologic Sciences/ Medical Dosimetry)

The College of Applied Sciences and Arts (CASA) at SIU Carbondale is seeking qualified applicants for a Lecturer position in ASA's School of Allied Health Radiologic Sciences and Medical Dosimetry beginning August 16, 2013, or until filled. This is a 25%-50% term position with possibility of renewal contingent on satisfactory performance and curricular need and does not lead to tenure.
Required: Registered radiographer from the ARRT. Must have minimum three years' work experience in radiography and/or in an imaging or therapeutic department. Minimum two years' experience as an instructor in a radiography or dosimetry program. Position requires minimum of a Master's degree in a health related discipline. Experience with D2L platform. Experience in teaching theories of education, administration/supervision in allied health, and research related to the radiological sciences and/or dosimetry.
Preferred: Ph.D. in health or education related discipline and supervisory experience with Dosimetry, Radiography and/or Imaging students. Credentials of CMD or registered radiographer with the MR or CT credential.
Responsibilities: Instruction via distance education. Student support. Participation in all program duties as described in accreditation standards and as determined by the Director of SAH.
