Position Summary

The academic programs in the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health are seeking qualified applicants to supplement the instructional resources of the college for various course offerings. The compensation for these positions will vary from semester to semester based on course assignment. Some positions will be expected to teach in Phoenix in the College's Phoenix-Area Programs and some courses taught will be web-delivered. These multiple positions will be on-going at a reduced FTE to compensate the successful applicants all year long for courses they may teach only one semester out of the year, but will be teaching it/them the following year. The FTE will fluctuate depending on course compensation and number of courses taught.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide instructional services for various Public Health courses offered in the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health * Prepare course materials through the D2L instructional platform, especially for web-delivered courses * Grade and post grades on UAccess * Be available for advising * Additional duties as required for successful course completion

Additional Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's degree, PhD, MD, DrPH or other advanced degree in a Public Health-related discipline or discipline germane to the subject area for on-line courses, demonstrated experience developing and delivering web-based instruction Demonstrated experience with D2L
Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with course instruction in a Public Health related subject * Demonstrated experience as course instructor in program planning, monitoring and evaluation
