Please visit to review a list of our achievements.Summary: A Litigation Legal Assistant provides assistance to lawyers from the filing of a complaint to the resolution.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Managing all aspects of large scale complex litigations and arbitrations.Maintaining, updating and organizing client files, trial transcripts, fact and research files, court papers and correspondence files in hard copy form as well as electronic form. Producing electronic and hard copy documents.Assisting with responses to discovery requests, including redacting documents in hard copy form as well as on line.Assembling documents for use at depositions.When needed, preparing for and attending court trials and/or arbitrations and handling all duties associated with a trial such as: preparing witness binders, preparing and tracking exhibits, contacting clients and witnesses, scheduling court reporters, etc.Cite-checking, blue-booking and proofreading briefs. Preparing privilege logs.Filing documents electronically with the courts.Must be proficient in Concordance and Relativity.Performs other miscellaneous projects and tasks as requested by attorneys and Legal Assistant Manager.Performs other work-related duties, as may be assigned.
