Bourntec is currently seeking LEVEL 1 DESKTOP SUPPORT TECHNICIAN - 100% PHONE SUPPORT to join our client team in MORTON GROVE, IL.

Level 1 Desktop Support Technician – 100% Phone Support

8200 Austin Ave, Morton Grove, IL

Long-Term Contract

Shift Time: 8.00 AM CST – 4.00 PM CST

JOB Description:
  • Great communication skills and they must be easily understood.
  • Fluency in English is a must. Fluency in French, Spanish, or Portuguese is a plus.
Demonstrated experience and success supporting users of:
ü Windows XP,

ü Microsoft Office Products including Outlook,

ü VPN – Cisco VPN is a plus,

ü Handheld devices, both blackberry and Windows-based. Experience managing blackberry devices on a Blackberry Enterprise Server is a plus,

ü Active Directory user management. Experience using Quest Active Roles Server is a plus,

ü Managing help desk tickets using a Help Desk Management System. Hands on experience with Remedy is a plus. A big plus would be if the person also had Remedy administration experience,

ü Desktop application issues.

Experience or familiarity with the following is a plus.

ü iSeries AS/400 account management

ü Hands-on experience in desktop support, supporting both end-user hardware and software.

ü Network administration working with routers and switches.
