The candidate will provide support and assist the library director in performing library activities. The candidate will assist in conducting an inventory of the collection, assist at the circulation desk, assist with the interlibrary loan program, assist in the collection of library statistics, and assist staff and users. Other special projects in support of the mission may also be assigned.
Some college preferred.
The candidate shall possess a minimum of one year of experience working as a library aide, library clerk, or library technician. Required administrative skills include, but are not limited to, answering telephones, preparing and properly formatting correspondence, and the maintenance and updating of files and records as directed. The candidate must possess organizational skills, the ability to work independently and a working knowledge of computers utilizing Microsoft Office.
