has an opportunity available for F/T Licensed Veterinary Technician (or highly experienced Veterinary Assistant) to join our AAHA-accredited, 3-doctor practice in Woodinville, Washington.
The ideal candidate should understand the importance of strong work ethics, dependability, teamwork, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Our practice has a high paced atmosphere that provides exceptional client service and patient care.
Qualified candidates must possess:
Washington State licensure or will be licensed in the next 6 months.
General veterinary experience.
Dental cleaning experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Fine Motor Skills.
General Computer Knowledge.
Friendly, outgoing personality.
Exceptional people skills and interpersonal skills.
Team player with the ability to multi-task and manage stress in a fast-paced environment while paying attention to detail.
Technical Duties include, but are not limited to: assisting Doctors and receptionists, in- house laboratory use, animal restraint, triage, pre-cursory examinations. The ability to effectively communicate and education clients on general animal husbandry and answer non-medical questions. Ideal candidates will have experience with anesthesia, surgery, and perform routine dental prophylactic procedures as directed by an Associate Veterinarian. We are willing to train the right candidate.
This position requires flexibility with evening and weekend shifts. Candidates must be able to work long hours and have the ability to lift a minimum of 40lbs.
