Responsibilities - The primary responsibilities of this position include the following activities related to insurance claims investigations:
Written and recorded statements
Accidental and contestable death claims
Medical records review & development of medical history
Interviews
Writing investigative reports
Skills/Experience:
*** Life and Health Claims Investigation Experience Mandatory ***
Eligibility to be licensed as a Private Investigator in NY and surrounding states
Associates/Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred
Ability and willingness to travel as necessary within a multi-state coverage area
Flexibility to work varied/irregular hours and days
Strong computer and internet skills
Self-starter who takes on challenging responsibilities and holds self accountable for results and performance.
Strong attention to detail with commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals or deadlines.
Possess a valid state issued Driver's License issued by state of residency
Possess a reliable vehicle and Computer with Windows Operating System, Microsoft Word and Internet Connection
