Life Sciences Database Project Manager

About Humedica

and validate clinical data from across the continuum of care (outpatient, ER,

About Life Sciences

Our Life Sciences division provides data, products, and consultation to
pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients utilizing a database containing
billions of clinical, financial, and demographic records. We seek to answer

client questions such as:
What are clinical outcomes for specific patient segments?
How do we identify unmet needs and market opportunities?
How do we tailor marketing messages to specific provider groups and patient
cohorts?
Are we attracting the right patient segments based on our product’s
clinical profile?
In which patient segments does our brand outperform the competition in terms
of clinical outcomes and cost effectiveness?
Database Project Manager

The Database Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning,
coordination, tracking, and implementation of all activities related to the
development of the Life Sciences database, including coordination of workflow
for a team of ten analytic and database programmers.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
define project tasks and resource requirements
develop full scale project plans
plan and schedule project timelines
track interim project deliverables using appropriate tools
develop a quality assurance system
constantly monitor and report on project progress to all stakeholders
implement and manage project changes and interventions as necessary
Education and Experience
knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
knowledge of project management techniques and tools
knowledge of quality assurance “best practices”
significant direct work experience in project management/quality assurance
capacity
proven experience in people management
proven experience in change management
healthcare domain experience preferred
