Life Sciences-Sales Support Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities

The Sales Support Specialist reports to the Director, Sales-Life Sciences and has a variety of responsibilities to support the sales team with all pre-sale efforts. These responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Reviewing all pre-sale requests to ensure clarity and appropriate level of difficulty
  • Creating presentations for pre-sale meetings based on targeted or requested data
  • Managing pre-sale project timelines and priorities
  • Triaging RFI forms and other custom client requests
  • Communicating with clients to explain pre-sale results and establish follow-up steps
  • Delivering compilation of pre-sale documents to analysts when projects are sold to provide context and definitions
  • Maintaining a portfolio of updated sales documents including general overviews, NorthStar sales documents, and disease specific presentations from previous projects
  • Maintaining and developing pre-sale request process

Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing
  • Very detail oriented, with careful attention to work processes
  • Ability to work creatively and flexibly, both independently and as part of a team
  • Good organizational, and written and oral communications skills
  • Competence with PCs and Windows Office applications
  • Intermediate/Advanced skills using Powerpoint
