Liberty Mutual is seeking a highly experienced Litigation paralegal with complex litigation skills to support a team of attorneys who provide corporate litigation services to all departments within the company.
Provide substantive support to attorneys and paralegals working on a wide variety of state and federal litigation matters in all phases of the litigation process.
Support internal and external business process efforts, assisting attorneys and clients
Develop a working knowledge of company resources sufficient to facilitate document management
Conduct factual research, analysis and collection and production of documents working with large document databases and in using litigation software tools.
Knowledge of electronic discovery is preferred. Excellent writing and communication skills and a team player and the ability to deal effectively with in-house clients and outside counsel is required.
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.
Paralegal certificate preferred. Requires 5-7 years working experience as a Paralegal.
Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with attorneys, clients and policyholders.
Must be able to exercise independent judgment.
Must display effective use of Microsoft Word, Excel and corporate databases.
