We are currently in search of a RN, LPI Navigator (8am – 5pm / Monday – Friday).
The Biliary Center (Liver & Pancreas Institute) Coordinator will be responsible for Case Conferences and other educational sessions (3-4 times per month) including: prospective patient cases, journal review, and outside speakers. The Navigator will work closely with liver & pancreas physicians and staff in coordinating care of LPI patients. This position will also coordinate a Liver & Pancreas Institute clinic (two/per month), and will be responsible for identifying patients to be seen in clinic.
- Coordinate physicians to see patients.
- Meet with patient to educate and summarize clinic visit.
- Schedule patient appointments ordered during clinic.
- Collect data related to Liver & Pancreas patients.
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN degree with an emphasis in related field required.
Must hold a current license from the Missouri Board of Nursing.
Minimum of 5 years experience in clinical specialty (GI & Oncology) with demonstrated competency (national certification preferred). Program development. Documented continuing education in specialty area required.
Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN degree with an emphasis in related field required.
Licensure/Certifications: Must hold a current license from the Missouri Board of Nursing.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in clinical specialty with demonstrated competency (national certification preferred). Documented continuing education in specialty area required.
