Job Purpose and Scope:

This position provides administrative and clerical support to the Lending department.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Serve as first point of contact for all internal and external calls to the department.

  • Coordinate with lenders all applications received via fax and electronic submission.

  • Handle dealer applications and manage the funding process.

  • Produce reports, including monthly usage reports, multiple reports documenting daily, weekly, and monthly results, and credit reports as needed.

  • Prepare and mail Adverse Action Notices to declined applicants as required by law.

  • Assemble loan files for Credit Administration/Loan Review.

  • Document and request monthly disbursement of dealer reserve accounts.

  • Reconcile monthly reports to lenders’ monthly application/funding results.

  • Serve as liaison to ensure the bank is meeting the customers’ needs and to maximize the customer/bank relationship.

  • Maintain good punctuality and attendance to work.


  • Marginal Job Duties:

  • Become familiar with bank products and services to have the ability to cross sell.

  • Provide back up support as needed for commercial lending.

  • Excellent computer Skills including Microsoft office

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks

  • Knowledge of basic elements required to close a loan

  • Position Requirements

    Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1 year experience with computers, including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Minimum one (1) year administrative/clerical experience
