This position is responsible for preparing, scanning, operating scanning equipment, indexing, retrieving, storing and assuring the quality control of loan document images and files. Review and identify documentation loan exceptions for adding all newly settled loans and change in terms to loan exceptions database, reporting all exceptions to appropriate lending staff and preparing weekly and month-end reports. Principal Responsibilities

Perform any preparation work required to the document before scanning.

Ensure all documents are scanned according to business guidelines and procedures.

Analyze the loan documents and ensure accurate indexing into Nautilus.

Review the computerized imaging indexes of documents to ensure accuracy and conformance to accepted standards and quality for Nautilus.

Clean and perform basic maintenance on equipment.

Provide post closing documentation review to include:
Review each file to loan approval for accuracy and completeness

Review each file to ensure proper documentation for each loan type as required by loan policy

Review each file for proper execution of loan documentation

Notify appropriate lending staff of loan documentation exceptions

Prepare weekly and month-end reports

Other related duties as assigned.


Experience in loan documentation review and loan structuring including at least one year of experience working with a computerized imaging system.

Strong knowledge of loan perfection, loan documentation, title policies, appraisals, insurances, environmental assessments, entity formation, documents and bank policies and procedures.

Good working knowledge of consumer, residential, SBA and commercial loan documents and file structures.

Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality.

Ability to meet and exceed productivity standards.

Possess strong organizational, analytical and decision making skills.

Excellent computer skills and familiarity with standard office equipment.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed in an office setting. Working extended hours may be required as needed. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
