The Local Application Manager, LAM, is responsible for providing U.S. Decorative Business Unit consultancy, support and change management of SAP EDI and related B2B business information systems. The LAM works closely with global SAP competency center teams for guidance, support, best practice standardization and solution-sharing to ensure the integrity and quality of centralized SAP applications for all decorative business units worldwide.
The LAM engages directly with business users, process owners and management to discover and suggest business application value opportunities, to define process & data requirements, and to manage testing and processing implementations. The LAM serves both local business unit and global interests as an applications analyst and change agent through relationship-building, collaboration, project management, communications, user training, testing and rigorous problem solving and incident resolution in pursuit of IT & Business Functional Excellence. Successful LAMs are customer service and results oriented with a passion for learning and developing the capabilities of others and a drive for continuous improvement in providing competitive advantage for our customers.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Business, or related discipline
Minimum 2+ years SAP ECC 6.0 EDI experience for manufacturing & sales distribution
Excellent business process, systems analysis and data management competency
Skilled in business application competency building, process change and value realization
Adherence to local and global standards and procedures
Successful project management & delivery track record
Effective written & verbal communications skill with engaging interpersonal ability
Ability and propensity to influence others
Domestic and international travel required, typically in 10-15% range
