Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc., a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies is recruiting for a Logistics Center Associate IV - 2nd Shift, located in Memphis, TN.
Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems, Inc provides account management and customer support services to key health care customers, including hospital systems and group purchasing organizations, leading health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, and government health care institutions. The company also provides contract management, logistics and supply chain functions for the major Johnson & Johnson franchises.
The Logistics Center IV (LC IV) Associate will perform a variety of tasks in accordance with defined job processes with a focus on ensuring daily work completion while focusing on safety, quality, customer service and cost in a 24-hour, global Logistics center supporting multiple operating company franchises. They will need to comprehend and demonstrate compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, and Sarbanes Oxley. Tasks include manual and clerical shipping and/or receiving duties and may focus on a particular area including international or domestic shipping, receiving, customer returns and redress. Additionally, the LC IV is expected to be knowledgeable of, and work across, all areas where needed.
The LC IV Associate is responsible for providing constructive input to enhance and improve the processes and environment by making suggestions and implementing process changes in coordination with the Supervisor to ensure the achievement of the Logistics Center objectives. Although, the LC IV does not supervisor others, he or she must be comfortable directing employees to the work that must be completed and following up on the completion of such work.
A minimum of a High School Diploma and 2 years business experience OR a Bachelors Degree is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required. Working knowledge of Warehouse Management System is preferred. Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred. Experience working in a regulatory environment is strongly preferred. Hazmat certification preferred. Strong analytical skills are required.
Ability to apply distribution knowledge and work with leadership to generate and interpret warehouse information for decision making is required. Ability to build respect with team members and manage successfully via influence is required. Demonstrated process improvement mindset/capability is required. Demonstrated sense of urgency; motivated by the challenge of working in a fast paced environment and doing stimulating work is required. Ability to exercise calm, sound, constructive judgment during high demand situations is required. Demonstrated ability to attain and comply with strict deadlines is required. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) are required. Demonstrated collaboration skills - team member; ability to contribute positively to the morale of the team is required. Demonstrated ability to manage complexity is required. Demonstrated flexibility in a dynamic work environment is required. Demonstrated orientation and focus towards safety, quality and Customer-service is required.
This position is based in Memphis, TN and is a 2nd shift position (starts at 2PM). The ability to work occasional overtime, occasional weekends, and some holidays is required. The ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift, on occasion is also required. The ability to stand and/or walk on concrete floors 75% of the time is required. The ability to work in a refrigerated environment at 2 to 8 C (35 to 46 F) for 2 hours or more at a time is required.
