AIR FORCE EMPLOYEE (CURRENT, PERMANENT, COMPETITIVE SERVICE, CAREER/CAREER-CONDITIONAL EMPLOYEES AND CURRENT PERMANENT AF DCIPS EMPLOYEES WITH REINSTATEMENT RIGHTS TO THE COMPETITIVE SERVICE).
Position Summary: This position serves as the AFRL Publications and Forms Manager and the Freedom of Information (FOIA) and Privacy Act Program Officer. Supports the AFRL Headquarters Records Management Program.

LOCATION: Position is located in the Integrations and Operations Division (DSO), Headquarters (HQ), Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), Wright Patterson AFB, OH.
Support the AFRL Headquarters Record Managemetn Program.
Manages the Publications and Forms Program for AFRL.
Manages the Privacy Act Program for AFRL.
Manages the Freedom of Inforrmation Act (FOIA) program for AFRL.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: At least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level is required. Specialized experience much include experience managing and monitoring records management efficiencies and/or privacy act programs.
Successfully completed Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively highter level graduate educaion leading to such a dgree or LL.M, related to the position being filled.
A combination of specialized experience and graduate level eduction that has provided me with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of this position. Only graduate level education in cess of the first two years may be used to combine with specialized experience.

TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) Restrictions for GS Positions: TIG is applicable to all federal employees who have held a GS position in the last 52 weeks. Applicants must have served at least 52 weeks at the GS-09 or higher grade within the Federal Civil Service (or equivalent in an alternate pay system) to be considered for referral. The purpose of TIG restrictions is to prevent excessively rapid promotions in competitive service GS positions and to protect competitive principles.
Your Official Personnel Folder (OPF) must contain transcripts that list the appropriate academic field (e.g., biology, mechanical engineering, economics, sociology, etc.) and all courses you have taken (including those failed) which appear to satisfy the qualification requirements of this position for which you are applying. Education is qualifying only in those instances where the education is directly related to the position being filled.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE : Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
