Provides administrative and supervisory duties inherent in directing and coordinating the organization's 55 technically skilled employee work force and contract forces in the operations, maintenance and repair programs that ensure the safety, health and welfare of the employees and visitors that occupy and use the nearly 300 County buildings serviced by the organization. Develops and manages the organization's budget for those maintenance programs as well as the additional energy and sustainability, indoor air quaility, and disaster recovery programs.

Manages the county-wide R3M program operations to include construction management for 130+ R3M projects per year, and project development of 125+ construction projects per year.
Provides oversight of R3M construction processes including project initiation & prioritization, budget & scope development, design, schedule, contract development, contractor selection, construction, acceptance and financial close-out.
Manages multiple construction contracts simultaneously to include developing energy savings projects and cost estimates.
Manages county-wide Facility Asset Management Program to include: annual inspection of 1,000,000 sq. ft. of County owned facilities; oversees facility inventory and assessment program, data collection and analysis, and maintenance of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Ensures that a Facility Condition Index (FCI) is developed for each building and maintained at an acceptable level, and performance measures are established and monitored.
Formulates and prepares an annual operating budget and manages fund allocations.
Manages R3M staff to include performance counseling, mentoring and coaching.
Prepares performance reviews for staff managers.
Carries out special projects including damage assessment, contractor licensing group, and customer service task force.
Performs other related duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Bachelor's degree; and
Eight years of experience in facility renovation/construction project management, five of which must have been at a supervisory level.
Associate’s degree; and
Ten years of experience in facility renovation/construction project management, five of which must have been at a supervisory level.
