Manage project stakeholders and all aspects of project including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closing.

Develop project plans according to establish FSSC Project Management Methodology

Monitor and control of existing or completed projects.

Support areas of the FSSC in accordance to roles and responsibilities.

Develops and maintains effective communication and excellent relationship with internal customers (included but not limited to business units, operations, property CFOs) including ensuring their requirements are identified and consistently met.

Manage system implementations and/or processes related developments which are initiated externally or by the FSSC to ensure that requirements are met and/or work efficiently enhanced.

Manage and promotes an effective relationship between the FSSC, the business unit and other corporate departments and ensures effective operational processes.

Enhances internal customer service through the implementation of reporting and processing improvements as well as promotion of service oriented approach within all functional responsibilities.

Drives and oversees continuous measurement, development and improvement of customer service quality and efficiency with and on behalf of senior management across the FSSC.

Provide concise project related reporting to appropriate audiences.

Maintain service level agreements with internal customers.

Manage, develop and maintain effective communication and excellent relationships with internal customers (included but not limited to business units, operations, property CFOs) including ensuring their requirements are identified and consistently met.

Oversee, maintain and enhance internal customer service through the implementation of reporting and process improvements as well as promotion of service oriented approaches within all functional responsibilities.

Ability to work on multiple levels from resolving individual support issues to leading large strategic projects.

Performs other job related duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
At least 3 years specific accounting experience.

At least 3 years supervisory experience or equivalent.

Must have demonstrated understanding SQL and relational and multi-dimensional database structures and schemas.

Must have proven experience using financial mainframe applications including ability to import and export data to and from mainframe applications and Microsoft programs.

Demonstrated leadership skills. Able to move people of all levels to action while managing day-to-day operations. Ability and desire to build and lead an effective, high performance team.

Proven ability to successfully manage personnel including successful conflict resolution, succession planning and retention planning.

Experience in working with all levels of management, including executives and consulting with key business stakeholders.

Highly developed organizational skills to function effectively while still maintaining attention to detail and meeting established deadlines.

Strong team player that has a direct approach and is solution oriented.

Ability to lead a change management initiative while coordinating and guiding resources.

Experience with continuous improvement activities and a strong desire to help implement lean enterprise initiatives.

Ability to work in a high stress fast paced environment managing multiple tasks, projects and personnel simultaneously. Must possess ability to prioritize conflicting duties for team and self while maintaining timeline integrity for projects and tasks.

Flexibility and ability to work within a fast growth environment with changing priorities.

Ability to anticipate situations, tools needed, and obstacles through critical thinking and review of data.

Must possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate ability to resolve all situations in a professional manner.

Clear understanding of change management. This should include participating in the development or implementation of solutions which require comprehensive shifts in operational practices.

Ability to guide design for use of electronic system tools to improve process, mine data, extract and report data.

Professional appearance and demeanor.

Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Advanced knowledge of Excel including conditional formatting, advanced calculations/functions.

Must be able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms.

Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or equivalent.

Project management experience/certifications.

Knowledge and experience with MGM Resorts International financial systems (Infinium, AS400, Showcase Strategy, Cognos Finance, Cognos Bi, ACL, Report Manager, Cognos Framework Manager).

Knowledge and experience with MGM Resorts International internal systems (Opera, Infogenesis, Archtics, Patron Management).

Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
