The Manager of Sales & Operations Planning is responsible to develop, implement and communicate replenishment strategies to meet the company's inventory plans as it relates to capacity, sales, turns and in-stocks. The Manager leads and develops a highly effective and responsive team that reacts to the needs of the business in a timely manner and provides accurate and concise solutions to replenishment issues. He/she works cross functionally with both internal and external partners to identify and resolve supply chain inefficiencies, implement new business processes and drive changes to meet future business strategies.

Plan and implement seasonal flow strategies and business best practices. Accurately understand guest needs and develop replenishment strategies to meet their expectations

Work with Planning, Logistics, and Store partners to ensure optimal product flow through the supply chain. Determine replenishment strategies to support the Marketing team

Develop and maintain the trust and confidence of others and foster the cross -division/function collaboration needed to achieve goals

Communicate business strategies to the Local Markets team to determine store impact and determine needs for field communication

Deliver exceptional customer service by focusing on the requirement of cross-functional partners and providing high-quality service

Achieve quality results by demonstrating urgency, persistence and flawless execution

Leadership/Talent Enhancement:
  • Build and develop a team of analysts who are able to successfully meet the demands of the business
  • Act to address/resolve poor performance and provide feedback, coaching and guidance where appropriate to enhance skill and identify team member strengths and opportunities to create development and succession planning
  • Represent the Sales & OPS team in initiatives that require cross-functional representation with other departments

Core Sales & Operations Planning Responsibilities:
Review the product flow plan and work with the planning team to ensure DCM is aligned to business needs

Manage polices and strategies in Teradata Demand Chain Management

Leverage our systems to meet the needs of the planning organization

Work with forecasting partners to ensure accurate and timely forecast are in place to drive product flow

Financial Responsibilities:
  • Determine replenishment strategies to support the Marketing
  • Monitor and maintain systems to align with the company's In -Stock and Inventory goals
  • Assist the Logistics and DC OPs teams in annual budgeting by providing carton flow plans

Bachelor' Degree in a Business or Supply Chain related field

5+ years in a Planning/Forecasting/Supply Chain related field

Expert skills in Merchandise Planning Systems such as DCM, POM, CATMFP, and R' Reports/Report Builder

Intermediate skills in Accounting/Quantitative analysis, Inventory Management, and measuring Key Performance Indicators

Intermediate to Expert skills in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access

Basic skills in SQL and Visual basic

Basic to Intermediate working knowledge of RDF
