INTRODUCTION: This position is located in the USPFO of the Kentucky Army National Guard. Its purpose is to oversee one or more product lines, a segment of a large warehouse, or serve as the senior employee in a smaller warehouse or supply facility. KEY REQUIREMENTS

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is located in the USPFO of the Kentucky Army National Guard. Its purpose is to oversee one or more product lines, a segment of a large warehouse, or serve as the senior employee in a smaller warehouse or supply facility. Performs a full range of warehousing activities to include receiving, storing, selecting and shipping bulk and bin materials equipment. Coordinates incoming and outgoing shipments and placement of materials within docking area. Prepares inventory and production reports, screens and identifies shipping and receiving documents for discrepancies, and directs shipments to shipping or storage areas. Identifies, examines, classifies, accepts and disposes of a wide variety of materials and property including electronic equipment, aircraft and automotive components and assemblies. Incumbent may be required to prepare for and support the mission through the accomplishment of duties pertaining to military training, military readiness, force protection and other mission related assignments including, but not limited to, training of traditional Guard members, CWDE/NBC training, exercise participation (ORE/ORI/UCI/MEI/OCI/IG, etc.), mobility exercise participation, FSTA/ATSO exercise participation, SABC training, LOAC training, weapons qualification training, participation in military formations, and medical mobility processing within the guidelines of NGB/ARNG/ANG/State/TAG rules, regulations and laws. Performs other duties as assigned. MILITARY COMPATIBILITY REQUIREMENTS : Selected candidate is required to be assigned to a compatible military unit and MOS/AFSC in accordance with TPR 303. ECMF : 91 EMOS : 36B, 51C, 74B, 88M, 88N, 89A, 89B, 92A, 92F, 92G, 92Y.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS : COMPLETE DATES MUST BE USED FOR YOUR EXPERIENCE. EXAMPLE 2 JAN 1980 TO 3 MARCH 1981 OR JAN 1980 TO MARCH 1981. USE OF YEAR ONLY WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE : Experience or training which demonstrates the ability to compare item identification against receiving reports and issue request forms; skill in using hand trucks, dollies, and other equipment to move stock; ability to use hammers, pliers, and other hand tools; and to follow oral and written instructions.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : Must possess 9 months of extensive experience or training in receiving, packaging, and preparation for shipment; experience in compiling reports, overall warehouse planning, documentation requirements, and accepted warehousing methods, procedures and techniques; experience in setting up and rotating storage locations considering factors such as life expectancy, available space, product turnover, etc.

a. Ability to perform simple tasks such as receiving and processing of incoming and outgoing shipments under frequent and occasional supervision.

b. Ability to store and retrieve stock items, to include knowledge of specific locations for items.

c. Skill in selecting and establishing specific locations for items.

d. Ability to count and record stocked items of inventory.

e. Skill in examining items and cataloging by name, quantity, stock number and location of stock.

f. Ability to read and interpret technical publications, manuals, and regulations.

g. Ability to do the more difficult tasks, answer questions, and check the work performed at the next lower level.

h. Skill in setting up and rotating storage locations.

i. Skill in determining shortage and overage in inventory; inspecting items to determine fair, wear, and tear.
