Merchandising Business systems is a core group within 7-Eleven Shared Services and supports all 5-fundamentals directly or indirectly with the most Impact on Assortment, Value and Service. Through RIS systems, we enable POS scanning, ordering, invoicing and deliveries to the stores. We provide essential Information for item by Item management and accurate cost and retail in support of offering customers best value. .
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Analyze, research, and resolve problems related to new items or changes submitted for existing items utilizing all supporting systems.
•Resolve complex problems given limited information in a time sensitive environment.
•Demonstrate expert-level knowledge on all ancillary systems and the impact of incorrect maintenance on interdependent systems and processes.
•Perform cross-functional activities including maintenance and/or research using ancillary systems.
•Proactively manage assigned tasks/workflow on a daily basis with minimal supervision.
•Identify opportunities to improve workflow and act as a change agent in implementing solutions.
•Develop Merchandising and ad hoc reports for Merchandising Business systems and other 7Eleven departments as required.
•Communicate and interface with SSC personnel on data maintenance request issues requiring resolution.
•Act as a Help Desk for Zone Merchandisers, Category Mangers and Category Assistants.
•Collaboration is required to identify and resolve issues with data submissions.
•Proof all work processed to ensure 100% accuracy.
•Provide general administrative support. Perform other responsibilities as required by management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education: High School/GED
Experience: 1-2, Data entry/customer service environment.
The ability to read and understand complex data matrices and maintenance procedures, training materials, software manuals
Math skills, data entry skills and excellent proof reading skills
