Practice is looking for a medical front office position to present a positive first impression to patients over the phone and in person. Primary responsibility of this role includes answering majority of the calls coming in to a very busy practice. Will also be responsible for checking patients in and out, collecting copays and deductibles, scheduling appointments and other duties as requested. Must be comfortable handling a very high volume of calls and returning voicemails. Will work with patients in solving problems and maintaining a high level of customer service.
One year experience in physician practice required
Knowledge of medical terminology required
Back office/Medical Assistant experience also preferred
Must have outstanding customer service abilities both in person and on the phone
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively at all times
Superior computer skills required
Must be able to answer multi-line phones and must be able to sit for long periods of time
