Responsible for the quality assurance reviews of staff members as well as providing feedback to Management. Additional projects would include, reconcilaitons of charity accounts, review of denials and appeals needed and follow-up with facilities on a regular basis on issues outstanding.
Conducts Q/A audit reviews on approved and denied charity accounts
Determines issues impeding performance and provide solutions
Travels to facilities based on business needs in response to concerns and issues
Assists with e-mails, reports, and projects
Maintains a desk for the purpose of reviewing accounts in question, acts as a floater in the event of employee absenteeism or Inventory backlog
Participates in meetings with Supervisors, Operations Manager and providing QA results, trending, issues, process improvement and initiatives
Acts as an integral part of the team, as well as a viable resource when assistance is required.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience required to perform the job.
Minimum of two years in healthcare environment setting in one of the following areas: hospital admitting, medical billing and one year of private collections preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent; 4 year college degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related area or preferred
2-3 years experience as a TFAC processor
2-5 years experience in medical billing field
3-5 years experience in Healthcare Administration or Business Office
