The MRI Technologist, Imaging, is responsible for providing age-specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team. The Imaging Technologist works within safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in QC and PI activities; maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements. Demonstrates ability to perform competencies as outlined in Radiology Competency Assessment tools.
Basic Qualifications: California State CRT Certificate required. 1 year recent MRI experience on GE or Siemens 1.5T MRI scanner.
Minimum Qualifications: Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification required by start date. Must have ARRT in MRI and valid venipuncture certificate.
Preferred Qualifications: 2 years with advance MRI exams on GE and Siemens systems.
