Working with the marketing manager to secure and fulfill local, regional and national promotional opportunities & relationships
Weekly reporting to the Marketing Manager of partner targets and outreach activity
Analyze reports on NYC tourism to determine trends and develop promotional tie-ins
Create, coordinate, and execute all local initiatives to drive and increase traffic to attraction
Understand, review and analyze sales by promotions reports (PDR) to ensure effectiveness of promotions
Explore and coordinate free advertising/promotional opportunities.
Assist with the implementation of the Marketing campaign and strategy
Ensure all marketing expenditures are coded and input properly and in a timely matter
Seek and coordinate cost effective ways to produce/deliver collateral – gather all print quotes in accordance with the Company’s printing procurement
Execute media plan including trafficking and invoicing
Maintain voucher inventory
Maintain and update marketing client/vendor database
Other projects as assigned
Experience in marketing
Must have a proactive, goal-oriented, can-do attitude
On occasion evenings, weekends and holidays may be required
Must be adaptable to change and used to multitasking
Refined verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to work independently with little supervision
Must have excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
Photoshop and InDesign experience a plus
Ensure all marketing expenditures are coded and input properly and timely; Provide creative support in producing in house promotions and advertisements via PhotoShop; Provide support to the Marketing Manager as needed to execute marketing initiatives; Maintain and update marketing client/vendor database; Provide general information regarding the attraction.
