COMPATIBLE REQUIREMENTS: Selected candidates will be required to be a member of the Montana Army or Air National Guard and in a compatible military grade prior to the effective date of placement. Selectee must be assigned to a compatible military specialty (MOS/AFSC) prior to or within one year of placement.

DUTIES:
SUMMARY OF DUTIES: If applicants’ desire, a copy of the Position Description (PD) can be obtained from the HRO. A brief statement of duties from PD No. _D1275000__ . This position is established as a Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Victim Advocate (SAPRVA), located in the Joint Force Headquarters-State (JFHQ-S), Directororate of Manpower & Personnel (J-1). The purpose of this position is to manage and implement the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) Program and Domestic Abuse/Violence Program. The SAPR VA would be responsible for reporting to the TAG and NGB SAPRO in the case that the JFHQ SARC, Alternate SARC and WING SARCs were not available. The SAPR VA would report to the JFHQ SACR and to the Command SAPR Committee. Serves as the principal point of contact for all certified military Victim Advocates regarding SAPR programs. Performs long-term planning and organizational development necessary to accomplish human resources functions in support of education, training, and responses for the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program and Domestic Abuse/Violence Program.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
BASIC ELIGIBILITY FACTORS: Document prior experience, education, and training relating to the General and Specialized Experience requirements . KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY (KSAs) are no longer basic eligibility factors, but will be used as rating and ranking factors.

KSA’S FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT RESPONSE COORDINATOR, GS-0301-09, 70726000

1. Knowledge of laws, regulations, executive orders and issues relating to victim advocacy and interpersonal violence.

2. Knowledge of sexual assault program and social services relative to program.

3. Skill in preparing and maintaining all forms of written documents to include formal memorandums, reporting, record maintenance and policies.

4. Skill in conducting training classes, workshops, and/or seminars.

5. Skill in communicating effectively with both military and civilian personnel.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE : Applicant must possess the experience, education, or training which provided a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration. Experience using computer and automation systems.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : Applicant must possess 24 months experience, education or training in any position that:
  • Required compiling reports, letters, memoranda, etc., and required person-to-person contacts to convey information.
  • Experience providing technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of administrative procedures and practices of management.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT : Selectee is subject to attaining and maintaining a security clearance as required by the position.
