Perform within a team oriented work area all associated tasks such as crane operation, machining, assembly, grinding, cutting, drilling and washing
Receive and perform work assignments, oral and/or written and follow work instructions
Perform crane spotting responsibilities including rigging
Utilize blade positioning and turning equipment for internal and external transport
Use process instructions to remove bags, small materials, and webs
Interpret drawings, sketches, etc. to obtain material and dimensional information with minimal supervision
Use sandblasting, cleaning, and washing techniques as required for blade processing
Set up, operate, and maintain a variety of machining equipment used in mounting, weighing, drilling, and finishing product
Install fixtures and fasteners and other required performance accessories
Document and record the receipt and delivery of all materials and products needed for the department
Perform required equipment inspections for safe operation and delivery
Operate a heating oven and install parts for the lightning receptors
Perform product inspections and documentation as required
Participate in waste removal activities across the facility
Accept or reject work as indicated by comparing data to the required drawing specifications, process specifications or other documented engineering criteria
Work with or under the direction of managers or engineers as needed
Assemble, verify dimensions, and disassemble components or set-ups for cutting, milling, drilling of materials, machining of root and edges, mounting of thread bushings and transportation plates
Follow all applicable specifications and procedures regarding the performance of plant operations
Use all required safety equipment and follow established safety procedures
Provide technical direction and training to other employees as required
Keep work areas in a clean and orderly condition
Support and perform team concepts in daily activities
High School Diploma or equivalent
1-2 years experience with hand tools, power tools, industrial machining
2 years experience operating lift trucks and overhead crane equipment with the ability to acquire appropriate licensing
Demonstrate ability to measure using the metric standards
Ability to work in restricted spaces
Ability and willingness to work shifts
