1.Set up equipment and maintenance, production/fabrication, test, production training, and machine/tool making
2.All activities to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives.
3.Set up an operating a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines.
4.Work from process sheets or written/verbal instructions
5.Checks and inspects operation against predetermined tolerances
6.Identifies and communicates downtime and machine run time.
7.Operates machinery or computer devices to produce a product or service.
8.Work with supervisor, engineers or maintenance on any line issue.
9.Wear personal protective equipment as required.
Physical Job Requirements:
*Able to lift 50 lbs. (2 person lift)
*Ability to walk, stand, bend, reach, stoop/squat, sit and crouch
*Majority of the shift will be standing
*Safely working with heavy machinery
*Good hand and eye dexterity.
•Good communication skills; speaking, reading, writing English
•Good math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, decimals
•Able to work independently and as a team player
•Able to work 11 hour shift
•Previous work as machine operator or technician a plus
•High School education or equivalent
