Communicates regularly with DVP, district team, store managers and HR district managers regarding business opportunities, selling cost, hours utilization reports, open jobs, mycustomer staffing comments, and other business and staffing related topics. Partners with DVP, district team, store management and HR teams to maximize sales opportunities, optimize schedules, create an outstanding customer service environment and control selling cost. Ensures that corporate directives are successfully executed, and district specific opportunities, and concerns, are raised through the appropriate individuals.
Partner with the Regional Schedule Production Manager to ensure schedules, build, and high volume day staffing supports the needs of the business.
Supports the staffing and scheduling agenda through effective communication with the Stores, Ops and HR team via weekly DVP conference calls and Deep Dive visits.
Ownership of My Schedule Plus at the District level by ensuring store execution of schedules as written.
Management of TIA departmental mapping and seasonal changes to ensure efficient and effective scheduling and accurate associate sales goals.
Support Macy's Inc. business strategies as they relate to staffing and driving business.
Experience in retail management, particularly in a store line environment.
Strong analytical skills including complex financial analysis and resolution.
Must be PC proficient, inclusive of Excel.
Some travel is required (30%) within the region and district.
