Sorts and mails all utility bills, disconnect notices and inserts.

Essential Duties:
Operates inserter/folder mailing equipment. Maintains and cleans equipment as necessary to keep equipment in optimum operating condition.

Coordinates equipment services from maintenance provider as needed.

Responsible for all sorting and mailing of monthly utility bills, disconnect notices and inserts.

Retrieves and processes utility bills that require special handling procedures.

Responsible for ensuring that all scheduled inserts are placed in each utility bill.

Ensures that all US Postal Service requirements are adhered to for each mailing. Ensures that all deadlines for mailing and delivery to Post Office are met.

Monitors postage account balances and ensures that needed reserves are available to accomplish monthly mailing of bills.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from high school or equivalent; and

One year related experience; or

Any equivalent combination of related education and experience.

Supplemental Information:

Small machinery mechanical knowledge preferred.


Inserter/folder, personal computer, 10-key calculator, multi-line-function telephone, two-way radio, typewriter, fax machine, sorting machine, postage machine, and copy machine.
