The Maintenance/Housekeeper works as part of the Housing Resource Centers Support Services team. The duties of the Maintenance/Housekeeper are to keep the facility safe, clean and comfortable. Responsible for routine cleaning, trash removal and minor maintenance as assigned.
Possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Must have two (2) years commercial cleaning experience. General knowledge and experience in housekeeping. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and duties assigned and work independently. Working knowledge of floor care and maintenance. Knowledge of sanitation methods and use of cleaning chemicals. Flexibility in days and hours available for scheduled work, including evenings and weekends. Considerable vehicle travel in an urban community. Sitting, standing, walking, driving, repeated hand and wrist motions (for use of cleaning equipment and machinery and other office equipment) are required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., operate cleaning equipment and machinery and work with cleaning solutions and chemicals. Possession of a valid driver’s license with access to a private vehicle for day-to-day job performance.
