ABOUT MT. SAINT VINCENT
Mount Saint Vincent was built in 1968 by the Sisters of Charity to provide both a Formation Center and an infirmary for Sisters who required recuperation from illness or surgery. The Formation Center eventually became a retirement center and in 1978, the decision was made to build an addition for the provision of skilled nursing services. The “addition” opened in 1980 as the current Elizabeth Seton Residence. In 1998, the Mount Saint Vincent Retirement Center underwent renovations and became licensed as a Religious Level IV Rest Home named Marillac Residence. The Mount Saint Vincent campus is home to these two facilities as well as a Chapel, Dining Room / Assembly Hall, Madonna Hall, and living quarters for additional Sisters of Charity.
